Events Are Back At The Halifax Convention Centre!

The Halifax Convention Centre will host more than 50 events this fall as the list of in-person meetings and conventions continues to grow.

“We have been working closely with our clients to plan their events and get back to doing what we do best – welcoming guests to Halifax and Nova Scotia, “ said Carrie Cussons, president and CEO of the Halifax Convention Centre. “Events play a critical role in driving economic and community vibrancy and supporting our province’s recovery, and we are so proud to offer a safe space for in-person events to continue.”

The lineup of fall events includes:

Halifax Veg Fest, Sept. 26
Social Enterprise World Forum Halifax Community Hub, Sept. 27-29
Construction Association of Nova Scotia AGM, Sept. 29
Canadian Ecotoxicity Workshop 2021, Oct. 4-6
DEFSEC Atlantic 2021, Oct. 5-7
Maritime Marine Supply Dealer Show, Oct. 15-16
Hal-Con Sci-Fi Fantasy Convention, Oct. 23-24
Atlantic Convenience Expo (ACE), Oct. 26-27
NS Business Hall of Fame Dinner, Oct. 28
NSAO Conference & Vision Expo, Nov. 12-13
Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Nov. 20
30th Festival of Trees Black Tie Gala, Nov. 27
All events will follow COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

In the new year, the centre will begin hosting national and international events that were rebooked due to the pandemic, including the National Black Canadians Summit in March.
