DESCRIPTION:“A “Fest is coming to Amherst Thursday thru Saturday Sept 12-14. \nAmong Thursday’s events is a Downtown Date Night from 5-9\, with 2 for 1 dining specials at participating restaurants\, and a Scavenger Hunt Contest. There’s also a concert with Theresa Malenfant at the Community Credit Union Business Innovation Center from 8-10. \nFriday there’s a Lobster Roll Luncheon at the First Baptist Church from 11:30-1:30. The Opening Ceremony and Family Night begins at 5:30 in Victoria Square\, with free healthy snacks catered by D&E Smoked Meats\, an Amherst Ramblers Corn Boil\, vendors\, music from Second Toe and an outdoor family movie\, the Secret Life of Pets 2 at 8. \nSaturday there’s breakfast from 8-11 at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Then starting at 10:30\, it’s Family Fun Day at Dickey Park\, with the Active Family Parade\, laser tag\, inflatables\, petting zoo\, walking track trivia and live music from 11-3. Don’t forget the Ramblers Home Opener at 7 and a fireworks show from the Robbs Complex at 9:45.\nJoin the A Team for the 2nd annual “A” Fest. \n
