SUMMARY:Cape Tormentine Beach Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Cape Tormentine Beach Festival is on this weekend. Headlining the weekend’s entertainment are Dion Pride\, son of singer Charley Pride\, Nashville country music artist Phil Valdez and New Brunswick’s Brian Mallery\, Shirley Albert\, Kenny James\, Cory Gallant\, Claude and Reg Gallant and the Sackville based Slim Pickins. And there is an open mic all weekend\, with finals Sunday afternoon. The washer toss tournament starts Saturday at noon. \nRoyal Canadian Legion Branch No. 81 in Cape Tormentine is holding a festival pancake breakfast on both Friday and Saturday mornings. \nThe event is a major fundraiser for the Cape Tormentine Community Development Corporation.
