DESCRIPTION:CART\, Children and Adults Reading Together\, is back for it’s 12th year at Cumberland Public Libraries. The program teaches reading readiness skills to children\, to prepare them for the first year of school. CART is open to children 3-5 with their parent or caregiver. It’s FREE\, but requires an 8 week commitment. Space is limited you have to call and register\, 902-667-2135. CART is only going to be offered in Amherst\, Thursday evenings from 6-7:30\, beginning Jan 10th. \n  \n
