SUMMARY:Cram A Cruiser
DESCRIPTION:The Amherst Police Department is proud to be hosting a “cram a cruiser” event in Amherst.  Their crime prevention cruiser will be parked at various locations throughout the town and you can “cram” the cruiser with non-perishable food items and coats.  The food items will be donated to the local food bank.  They are also looking for gently used coats and/or winter wear that can be donated as well in support of the Coats for Cumberland campaign. \nThe campaign is looking for all sizes of winter wear but in particular\, there is a need for sizes 8 and up for boys\, and plus sizes for adults.  There has also been a strong need for snow pants as well. \nThe cruiser will be parked at the following locations: \nNovember 9th \nSpring Street Academy School 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. \nWest Highlands Elementary 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. \nE.B. Chandler Junior High 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. \nSobeys parking lot 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. \nNovember 10th \nWalmart parking lot 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. \nThank you again for supporting our local food bank and the Empowering Beyond Barriers Coats for Cumberland campaign. \n
