SUMMARY:Fling - Singing for the Fling
DESCRIPTION:The 37th Annual Highland Fling Family Fun Fair is Saturday May 11 9-1 at the Amherst Curling Club. This year’s goal is to raise $35\,000 to buy a mannequin simulator\, to support nursing and other medical professionals in developing and maintaining skills. The next pre-Fling event is Singing for the Fling\, Wednesday May 8\, from 7-10 at Trinity St. Stephens United Church. It will be hosted by the Bordertown Jam and will feature the band Second Toe. Tickets are $10 and available at the church office\, the First Baptist Church and the Amherst Artisan’s Gallery at the Amherst Center. There will be a 50/50 and a canteen featuring cookies.
