SUMMARY:Nature Conservancy - Tree Planting
DESCRIPTION:The Nature Conservancy of Canada will plant 2500  trees on Saturday\, June 17 as part of a forest restoration and wildlife habitat enhancement project.  NCC staff and volunteers\, along with Canadian Forest International\, will be planting native tree species near the New Brunswick-Nova Scotia border\, in an old agricultural field that was donated to the land trust. The goal of the project is to help restore the Acadian forest\, \, and to encourage wildlife\, especially moose\, to migrate from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia. \nThe Nature Conservancy needs 10-12 more volunteers for this 3-hour tree planting project. To volunteer go to conservationvolunteers.ca or call \n1-877-231-4400. \n
