DESCRIPTION:May 15-21 is National Police Week. Wednesday May 17 from 10-4\, Amherst Police and Cumberland District RCMP are hosting a Police Week Event at the Amherst Center. The event will feature police sections\, partner agencies and is open to the public. Madd will have the peddle karts set up to drive for the Madd Kart Challenge. There will be a Nerf shooting gallery\, a police K-9 and Taser demo. The Amherst Police Department’s Cops For Kids Camp application forms will also be available. \n
