SUMMARY:The Summer of the Handley Page
DESCRIPTION:100 years ago on July 5 1919\, the Handley Page Atlantic crashed landed in Parrsboro and remained there for repairs until October. In 1987\, the Ships Company Theatre produced a play called The Summer of the Handley Page about the event. A film of the production will be shown Friday and Saturday at 2 at the Hall. Admission is by donation\, with proceeds to the Handley Page 100 Project. The shows are presented by the Parrsboro Legion\, the Parrsboro Historical Society and the Handley Page Air Cadet Squadron. \n
