SUMMARY:Tidnish Bridge Fire Department Engine Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:The Tidnish Bridge Fire Department is in desperate need of 2 new engines for their rescue boat. Their current engines are over 20 years old and are no longer reliable in an emergency. For safety reasons they want to be ready for the upcoming beach season in May. Close to 8000 cottage goers\, swimmers\, boaters and tourists populate the area between Port Elgin and Pugwash every summer. And every year the Tidnish Bridge Fire Department answers four calls a summer. The total cost of the new engines is almost $28\,000. How can we help. Make a personal or corporate donation. You can e-transfer at TBfiredept@hotmail.com. If you like to dance the band Fusion will be playing at the Tidnish Community Center Saturday Feb 9. Tickets are $10. Call Ali at 902-694-0930 or check out their facebook page\, TBFD Engine Fundraiser.
