DESCRIPTION:This Sunday at 3\, Trinity-St. Stephen’s United Church welcomes nationally acclaimed women’s vocal ensemble Xara Choral Theatre and renowned author Ami McKay present an inter-disciplinary performance called The Hours Turn to Nothing. It tells the story of the Halifax explosion and the midwives that served the many pregnant women living within range of the explosion\, who went into spontaneous labor from the force of the explosion.( The performance includes choral pieces\, text and movement.) Tickets are $ 20. Children 8 -18 accompanied by an adult ticket holder will be admitted free. Tickets at the Trinity-St. Stephen’s United Church office or by phoning (902) 667-8483. \n
