Christmas Angel Trees will be up in various locations around Cumberland County including at Dayle’s Grand Market\, Scotiabank branches in Oxford and Pugwash\, the Pugwash Co-op\, Dairy Queen\, Archway Insurance\, Amherst Pharmasave\, Community Credit Union\, the Artisans Market in the Amherst Centre\, the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre and at the Christmas for Kids headquarters in Amherst Centre. Pick an angel from a tree\, buy a gift for that person and return it to that location\, and make someone’s Christmas special. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Cumberland Health Care Foundation and the annual Light The Way Campaign\, is looking to raise over $200\,000 for a diagnostic imaging C-Arm for the operating rooms at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center.Light the Way is Wednesday Nov 28 starting at 5:30. There will be animated lights\, music\, children’s activities and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and Miltilda the Elf. There is no admission and parking will be free for the evening. You can make a donation any time of the year\, but with Light the Way your donation and tribute will be included in a book\, if received before Nov 23\, and your donation received before Dec 31 will be eligible for a 2018 tax receipt. \n
