Christmas Angel Trees will be up in various locations around Cumberland County including at Dayle’s Grand Market\, Scotiabank branches in Oxford and Pugwash\, the Pugwash Co-op\, Dairy Queen\, Archway Insurance\, Amherst Pharmasave\, Community Credit Union\, the Artisans Market in the Amherst Centre\, the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre and at the Christmas for Kids headquarters in Amherst Centre. Pick an angel from a tree\, buy a gift for that person and return it to that location\, and make someone’s Christmas special. \n

DESCRIPTION:Town of Oxford 14th Annual Christmas Parade is Friday\, November 30th. This years’ theme is “It’s a Blue Christmas.” The parade starts at 6:30 from the Deaprtment of Natural Resources and Oxford Frozen Foods. For a parade entry form call 447-2798. Christmas Jam will be held at the Oxford Capitol Theatre with donations will be going to the Food Bank. Kids\, bring your Christmas Letters to Santa\, as it is rumored that he may be able to stop by for a visit at Heritage Square on Main Street. There will also be a Free Skate and Hot Chocolate will be at the Oxford Arena from 7 pm – 8:30. \n
