The referral line will be available Monday to Thursday\, at 902-667-1949\, for both Christmas For Kids and the Christmas Cheer Food Program. Angel trees will be located at Dayles Grand Market\, Scotiabank branches in Oxford and Pugwash\, the Pugwash Co-Op\, Dairy Queen\, Archway insurance\, Amherst Pharmasave\, the Community Credit Union\, the Artisans Market at the Amherst Center\, Tim’s Barbershop\, the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center\, and the Christmas for Kids Center in the former Blue Notes store in the Amherst Center. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Shari Mallinson Gallery will be hosting personalized Christmas Card-Creating Sessions for Amherst seniors Nov. 21 and 22\, from 1 to 5 p.m.\, and on Saturday\, Nov. 23\, artist Ben Pitman will host two card-creating sessions\, from 10 a.m. to noon\, and then from noon to 2 p.m. All cards will be left with the gallery to be personally delivered to Amherst’s retirement communities for the upcoming holidays.
