DESCRIPTION:Learn 2 Lead and the St John Ambulance are hosting a Home Alone Course this afternoon from 3-5:30 at the Junction Road School. It’s designed for 9-11 year olds\, who are just starting to stay home by themselves for a short period of time. The course will cover basic safety tips\, home safety procedures\, when to call 911\, how to get emergency help\, healthy eating\, fighting boredom\, overcoming fears and fire safety. The cost is $15\, and registration is required and payments should be made in advance. Call Michelle at 902-763-3000 or email mherrett@cumberlandcounty.ns.ca. The same course will be offered at the Oxford Arena\, Thursday March 19 from 9-11:30. \n
