SUMMARY:Christmas Box Campaign in Port Elgin
DESCRIPTION:Pedvac Foundation is now accepting applications for its annual Christmas Box Campaign in the Port Elgin area. (Each year\, PEDVAC distributes Christmas boxes with all the ingredients for a special Christmas dinner\, additional groceries for the Christmas week\, toys for each child\, a gift for each member of the family\, knitted items and small seasonal items such as ornaments and Christmas candy.) \nApplications for Christmas boxes can be filled out at PEDVAC\, 12 Church St.\, Port Elgin\, Monday through Friday\, 9 am to 5 pm. If you want to refer others  contact the centre at 506-574-0091. Applications should be received no later than December 4.. \nArea service groups\, businesses and individuals are being asked to donate towards the campaign. Individuals wishing to make a monetary donation of $10 or more to PEDVAC Foundation will receive an official income tax receipt. In-kind donations of food\, toys\, knitting\, etc. would also be greatly appreciated.
