“Witnesses to a New Nation: 150 Buildings Which Saw Confederation”

Celebrate 150 years of Confederation with 150 large captioned photos of Nova Scotia’s historic buildings, including some from Amherst. Dayles Grand Market will be hosting the exhibit, , “Witnesses to a New Nation: 150 Buildings Which Saw Confederation” from June 27-Jul 11 from 10-4. The official opening is at 12:30 Tuesday June 27^th. Along with the photo show, Amherst Heritage Trust has planned two walking tours, a scavenger hunt, a knit-in, and a preview of a new project, Houses Have Tales: Inventory and Memories of Our Built Heritage.
