A Family Fishing Derby

A Family Fishing Derby is Saturday May 25 from 9-1 at the Pumping Station Pond in Broodkdale. Prizes have been donated for longest fish in 3 categories, 8 and under, 9-12 and 13-16, with a grand prize for the longest fish. For more information call the Amherst Recreation Department at 902-667-6500.

Bring an extra bag for trash and be careful discarding hooks and glass, because people walk their dogs at the Pumping Station.
