Earth Day Clean up in Amherst

The Town of Amherst, Cumberland Central Landfill, Miller Waste and The Great Nova Scotia Pick-Me-Up are teaming up to clean up our community Saturday, Earth Day, from 9-1. Bags will be available for pick up at Amherst Stadium. Miller Waste will collect the waste at the Amherst Stadium. There will also be a Battery drop- off box on site. And grab a bag of compost donated by Cumberland Central Landfill. Enter the draw to win a prize. For more information call 902-667-3352.
