Parrsboro International Plein Air Festival

Friday through Sunday, June 16, 17 & 18, thirty-seven top plein air artists are coming to Parrsboro from Maine, Ontario, Quebec, the Atlantic Provinces, New Jersey, Ohio and Massachusetts, for the Parrsboro International Plein Air Festival. Plein air – painting in the open air – is the hottest art movement in North America. They will compete for $6,000 in cash awards, and you can see them painting the spectacular Bay of Fundy/Parrsboro Shore from Bass River to Advocate.
