Symphony NS in Amherst

Fans of Symphony Nova Scotia will experience a rare opportunity to hear the orchestra outside HRM. Symphony NS will perform in Amherst on Wed, Apr 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Trinity-St. Stephen’s United Church in Amherst. All tickets are $25 advance, $28 at the door. Children 7-18, accompanied by an adult with a ticket will be admitted free.  (The orchestra will play works by Mozart, Beethoven, Prokofiev (PRONOUNCE:  pro-COUGH-ee-ehv), and a new piece by Canadian composer, Dinuk Wijeratne (PRONOUNCE:  dih-NUK vee-jur-AT-nay).
