Virtual Babysitters Course

Learn to Lead Cumberland, the Amherst Recreation Department and Parrsboro Recreation and St. John Ambulance are holing a Virtual Babysitters Course, Saturday from 1-4 on Zoom. Register at ticketpro.ca. The cost is $30

The course is designed for youth ages 11-15, and teaches the skills necessary to care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. It emphasizes safety, dealing with emergencies, and first aid basics. Students are required to bring a doll or teddy bear, baby bottle & a diaper. The instructor will reach out with zoom details 1-2 days before the course. Registration is limited.
