The Grinch is Live in Amherst at the Community Credit Union Business Innovation Center, Thursday at 7. Tickets are $8 cash only, children under 3 free, when accompanied by an adult. The Grinch will tell the story of how he stole Christmas, what it’s like in Whoville, and answers questions from the audience. After the performance get an autograph from the Grinch.

Glow Bingo is coming Fri Dec 21 starting at 6:50 at the Amherst Fire Hall. Get your custom t-shirts ready and collect glow in the dark daubers. Prices will be the same as for regular bingo. This will be a licensed event with a cash bar and music all night long.

The Amherst Community Christmas Dinner is Christmas Day at the Amherst Lions Center, between 2 and 4. There will be two sittings of up to 200 people. The Amherst Ramblers are the host team for the 2019 Fred Page Cup is May 1-5 at the Amherst Stadium. Tournament passes are $69, which include all round robin games, playoffs and the championship game, are available at the Ramblers Office on Industrial Park Drive.
