The Amherst 50+ Club is holding a Christmas Tea, and Craft and Bake Sale Sat Dec 1 from 10-2 at their hall on Croft Street. You’ll get your choice of fresh sandwiches, dessert and tea or coffee for $6.

Christ Church Anglican’s Christmas Bazaar is Saturday Dec 1 from 10-1, at Christ Church parish Hall. They will also be featuring local fibre arts, knitting, baking, books and new to you items. There will also be lunch, with soup, sandwiches and sweets for $10.

Canadian Blood Services are holding Blood Drive Clinics, Monday Dec 3 and Tue Dec 4 from 1-3 and 5-8, at the Amherst Lions Center. This time Give Life in the Name of Someone Important to You. Honor Mitchell Richard to carry forward his wish to have people donate when possible. You can book your appointment now blood.ca, or drop in and give life Dec 3 and 4th at the Amherst lions Center.

A CWL Christmas Merchandise Bingo will be held Sunday at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Springhill. There will be regular games and specials. All books $5. Doors open at 6, bingo starts at 7. The canteen will be open with turkey burgers, apple crisp and fudge. All Proceeds from this Bingo go towards filling St Vincent de Paul Christmas Boxes. The Amherst Regional High bands and choir will be holding their Christmas Concert, Sunday at 6:30 at the Susan Taylor Theatre at ARHS. Donations will be accepted at the door.

There’s a Holiday Mixer Networking Event for small businesses, not for profits and entrepreneurs, Tuesday Dec 4 at Sackville Commons, 64 Main Street Sackville. It will run from 6:30-8:30.
