Light the Way
The Cumberland Health Care Foundation and the annual Light The Way Campaign, is looking to raise over $200,000 for a diagnostic imaging C-Arm for the operating rooms at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center.Light the Way is Wednesday Nov 28 starting at 5:30. Town of Oxford 14th Annual Christmas Parade is Friday, November 30th. The Cumberland Singers present The Sounds of Christmas, an evening of traditional and contemporary Christmas music, Friday Nov 30 at 7:30 at the Wentworth Recreation Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for 12 and under. Proceeds to the VON and the Wentworth Youth Hostel.

Masonic Breakfast
The Amherst Masons are serving breakfast this Saturday morning 7:30-10:30, at their temple on Lawrence Street. Eggs, bacon, sausages and more are on their menu. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Takeouts are available.

Sat Dec 1 is Students Day on the Town. From 9-6, Mount Allison Students and NSCC Cumberland students will get a free ride from campus to Amherst. There will be special gifts, tax free shopping and free lunch.

The Chignecto/Glooscap ATV Poker Rally is Saturday at the Chignecto Game Sanctuary. Meet at the warming shelter on the Boars Back Road, for registration between 9 and 11. The cost is $20 per hand, and there will be prizes for the top 3 hands. A canteen will be open at the warming shelter as well, with hamburgers, hot dogs and lobster rolls. You will be able to buy cooked lobster to take home.
