The Great Amherst Scarefest returns to the Amherst Center this Friday thru Tuesday, and it’s going to be scarier than last year. There will be family friendly times and times for teens and adults. St Paul’s United Church 404 Cleveland Ave in Riverview NB, is holding a Fall Fair, Sat Oct 27 from 9-1. There will used items, homemade candy and baked goods, a Christmas Shop, a silent Auction and more including lunch. The admission is free.

The Tantramar 681 Air Cadet Squadron will be holding a fund raising Spaghetti Dinner, Saturday from 4-6:30 at the Sackville Legion. The dinner prepared by President Doreen Richards and her volunteers will be served by Squadron members. Dinner, beverage and dessert is $12 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under.
