Trail Flow Porta Park will be in Springhill Saturday from 3-5, at the Dr Carson and Marion Murray Community Center. The park simulates the elements found on real mountain bike trails, and is designed for riders of all skill levels. The event is free. There is a Church Supper at the Malagash Community Hall Sat June 23 from 4-6. You can build your own meal from the casseroles, baked beans and salads plus desserts. The cost for adults is $12, children 12 and under $6 and free for preschoolers. Proceeds to the Malagash United Church.

The YMCA of Cumberland and the Cross Border Challenge are presenting a Summer Kickoff Beer Garden, Saturday  from 8:30-1 at the Amherst Stadium. Big Fish is back, and the Chris Brown Trio will open the evening. Tickets are available at the Cumberland Y, West Amherst Go Store and at Vogue Optical.

There will be a VON Cumberland Musical Event at the Music Barn in Sackville, Sunday June 24 at 1:30. Among the entertainers will be Derailed, Mike Blakeney and Drew Moore, Joe Doucette and Lisa Briggs, Slim Pickens, Pic n Grin and more. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 and a BBQ. All money raised to VON charitable programs.
