The EB Chandler and ARHS Stage Bands will hold their concert at the Susan Taylor Theatre at ARHS on Thursday June 7 at 7:00 p.m. The grades 7 and 8 Concert Bands and Choir will hold their concert at the EB Chandler gymnasium on Tuesday June 12 at 7:00 p.m. Donations at the door will gladly be accepted at all concerts.

The Knights of Columbus are serving Breakfast this Saturday 8-11 at their hall on Robie Street. The cost is $6 per person. This will be their last breakfast til fall.

If you would like to know more about the Oxford Community Garden, there is a Community Garden Kickoff Sat June 9 from 9-noon at the Oxford Lions Center. There will be displays and information on planting and gardening and a BBQ. For more information, call 902-447-2798.

Springhill’s Annual Youth Fishing Derby is Sat June 9 from 11-2 at the Pit Pond. It’s for ages 15 and under. There will be prizes for the longest fish caught. Communities in Bloom will be holding a BBQ on site. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. The fish derby is sponsored by the Dr Carson and Marion Murray Community Center.

The Country View 4H Club is holding a Father’s Day Take Out June 17th. Lobster Rolls for $18 or Pulled Pork sandwich for $15. Both include salads, dessert and drink.
