The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Amherst will be held Wednesday at noon at the Community Credit Union Innovation Center. Gender-based violence and family violence continues to be a problem. Organizations like Autumn House can deliver information, resources, support and hope to victims. The Amherst Curling Club will be hosting this season’s Provincial Championships and we need a few Coordinators for the event from February 15th to 19th, 2018.
