There will be a Christmas Bazaar and Soup Luncheon, Sat Nov 25 from 10-1 at Christ Church Parish Hall. Find crafts, bakery and pantry tables, books, new to you items and more. For lunch there will be soup, sandwiches and dessert for $10.  

The Sunset Fall Giftware, Craft and Bake Sale is Sat Nov 25 from 10-3 at the Pugwash Legion Peace Branch #60 on Durham Street. They will have a Gift Card Raffle worth over $500. The Legion Ladies Auxiliary will have a canteen. Open. Admission is free.

The 681 Tantramar Air Cadets Squadron will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner at the Royal Canadian Legion (15 Lorne Street) on November 25th from 4-6:30. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $8.00 and for $10.00 at the door. To purchase tickets in advance contact 681air@cadets.gc.ca or visit the Sackville Legion.

There’s a Fundraising Dance at the Amherst 50+ Club, Saturday from 8-1. Music by Jerry Metz and Friends. There will be spot dances, a 50/50 draw and a light lunch. Admission is by donation.  

The Air Force Association is holding a Roast Beef Dinner, Sunday Nov 26 at 4, at the Air Force Association. The cost is $13 and take-outs are available. For more information and tickets call 902-667-9262.

The River Hebert Santa Claus Parade is Sunday Nov 26. Line up at the River Hebert Baptist Church is at 5. Non-perishable food items will be collected along the parade route for the food bank. Santa will take your letters at the Fire Hall, where there will be cookies and hot drinks for all. For more information, call Darrell Fagan at 902-251-2490.

The Cumberland County Seniors Safety Program will be offering a short Safe Food Handing Course, Tuesday Nov 28 from 9:45-12:30 at the Oxford Pioneers Club in Oxford. The course will be offered free to people who handle and prepare food for public events such as church groups. To pre-register call 902-667-7484.

The Bridge Adult Service Center is holding a Luncheon, Wednesday Nov 29 from 11:30-1. They will be serving soup and chilli with rolls and dessert for $8.
