Applications have opened up for the Springhill Lion's Club’s Toys for Tots campaign. The program for low income families with children from infants to age-15. They will be taking registrations until December 4th. You can apply by calling 902-297-1012. Christmas wishes should be under $30 per child. With the cancellation of most local parades due to the pandemic, Cumberland County has a way for families to find some holiday cheer. They have developed the Cumberland Parade of Lights, so residents, businesses, and organizations can highlight their decorating efforts. The Cumberland County Museum Society is hosting Christmas at Grove Cottage, Sat and Sun Nov 21-22. There will be a Victorian Christmas tea and artisan sale from 10-6. Timed, ticketed entry will ensure you have lots of space to comfortably shop at the nine artisan tables located throughout the museum.
