The All Saints Hospital Auxiliary Annual Breakfast is Saturday Nov 4 from 8:30-11:30 at the Springhill Legion. There will also be a silent auction. The cost for adults is $8 and $4 for children. All proceeds will buy much needed equipment for hospital patients.

In preparation for Remembrance Day, the Springhill Communities in Bloom has organized a Community Clean Up of the downtown core on Saturday, November 4th. Please meet at the Teen Centre at the Dr. Carson & Marion Murray Community Centre to pick up your bags and gloves between 10 and noon. All are welcome! Refreshments provided.

There’s a Benefit for Peter Melanson, who is recovering from a stroke, Sat Nov 4 from 9-1 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 14 in River Hebert. There will be a silent auction, and you could also win a $50 gas card and 10 pounds of lobster. Admission is a donation at the door, and you will have a chance to win a 43” smart tv.

CARMA, Amherst and Area, is holding a pancake Breakfast, Saturday from 8-1 at the Amherst Masonic Hall. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Funds raised support a Trap-Neuter-Release program and helps provides rescue, care and food for abandoned and stray cats.

The Air Force Association on Havelock Street are holding a Crib Tournament Sunday Nov 5 at 1. You must have a partner.

The 2017 Sackville Art Association Members Exhibition begins Sunday, with an opening reception from 3-5 at the Owens Art Gallery in Sackville. This year’s featured artist is Laurell Hamilton.

There will be a Fall Supper at the St. Marks Hall in Mount Whatley Sunday at 5. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for 6-12, and under 5 eat free. Proceeds to the Chignecto 4-H club.
