Halloween Spooktacular Costume Dance
The Amherst Cheer Parents Association is holding a Halloween Spooktacular Costume Dance at the Amherst Fire Hall, Sat Oct 28 from 8-1. The dance will feature Naked On South Albion. There will be a best costume contest, a 50/50 draw and silent auction. There will be free shuttle service within town limits. Tickets are $15 or 2 for $25. The United Way of Cumberland County is presenting Festival of Trees, November 17 and 18 at the Amherst Center. It’s a celebration of the Christmas tree. The highlight will be auction of decorated Christmas trees. If you like decorating and would like to donate a decorated tree to be auctioned off at the Festival, call 902-667-2203 or 902-694-2411.
