There is a Musical Evening in support of Autumn House, Friday Sept 29 at 7 at the First Baptist Church. The Rollikers, Silver Rose and the Baptist Choir will be performing. Admission is a good will offering. There will also be a harvest sale of baked goods and preserves.

The Amherst Masons are serving breakfast this Saturday, from 7:30-10:30 at their hall on Lawrence Street. Eggs, sausage or bacon and hash browns will be on their menu for $6 for adults and $4 for children. Take-outs are also available.

CARMA Amherst and Area Fall Fair is going on Saturday from 8-2 at the Amherst Lions Den. Tables will include crafts, books, preserves, Christmas, fall, Halloween, pet gifts, jewelry, baked goods and yard sale items. There will also be a BBQ. If you bring a food donation for the rescue cats, you could win the Special Draw.
