Sackville Kite Day
To celebrate Canada 150+ and the completion of the TransCanada Trail, the Town of Sackville will be holding a Sackville Kite Day Experience and presenting the play “A Complete History of Canada Since Confederation”. Next year will be the 100 anniversary of the Cumberland County Exhibition in Oxford. They would like a new logo for the occasion. The Annual Labor Day Weekend Events are back at the Age of Sail Museum in Port Greville. Saturday enjoy the music of Hooligans Ruff free at the museum. From 4:30-6, there's a Roast Beef Supper at the FPW Fire Hall. The cost is $12. Sunday the Open Air Ecumenical Church Service at Collins Field starts at 9:30, with pancake breakfast following that for $5. Sunday there is also an Antique Engine Show at the museum, with free admission.
