Chamber – Meet Your MLA
The Amherst and Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a breakfast event, Meet Your MLA, Fri Aug 18 from 7:30-9 at the Community Credit Union Business Innovation Center. MLA Elizabeth Smith McCrossin will share her mission and strategic goals for Cumberland North. There will also be a panel discussion with Cumberland North Business Leaders. The Pugwash Fire Department’s Mackerel Fishing Tournament is Sat and Sun Aug 19 and 20. There are cash prizes for the 4th biggest fish, including $500 for first place. There will also be prize draws following the final weigh ins Saturday and Sunday in Eaton park. And a BBQ Sat from 2-4.Register at the fire station between 6:30 and noon both days.
