The Cumberland Adult Network for Upgrading, CANU has a free GED Study Program, every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11. The GED is free to write, you write one subject at a time, and to prepare you get instruction and support. Early Learning Program – West Highlands

Fibre Arts Friends at the Joggins Fossil Centre

Parrsboro International Plein Air Festival

Nature Conservancy – Tree Planting

June 17, 2017

The Nature Conservancy of Canada will plant 2500  trees on Saturday, June 17 as part of a forest restoration and wildlife habitat enhancement project.  NCC staff and volunteers, along with Canadian Forest International, will be planting native tree species near the New Brunswick-Nova Scotia border, in an old agricultural field that was donated to the land trust.
