May is Asian Heritage Month in Canada. Tuesday May 30, from 2:45-4:15, Maggie’s Place and Hee Yeon Son, will celebrate Korean culture, by playing games, creating crafts and enjoying story time. This event is free and for 5-12 year olds. Call Maggie’s Place at 902-667-7250 to register.

Wednesday May 31 is Tim Hortons Camp Day. You can help send a kid from a low-income family to Tim Hortons Camp. 100% of the proceeds from hot coffee and bracelet sales will help brighten a kid’s future. Collect all 4 bracelet colors. You can also donate online at timhortons.com.

The Immanuel United Church will be holding its 98th Anniversary Service Sunday June 4 at 6:30. Rev Wayne MacArthur will be the special speaker, with musical guests The Travellers. There will be refreshments and social time following the service.
