The Cumberland Health Care Foundation invites you to their Canada 150Red Carpet Gala, Sat May 6 at Amherst Regional High. The Malagash Cooks invite you to a supper that mom used to make. It’s a Saturday Night Supper at the Malagash Community Hall, Sat May 6 at 6. Beef stew, baked beans, brown bread, biscuits, rolls and cake for dessert, all homemade. The cost is $15 per person. There’s a Benefit for Monica Doucette at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Sat May 6 from 7-midnight. There will be a silent auction and a 50/50. Music will be by Steve LeBlanc, Basil Hicks and Cool Water. Admission is a donation at the door. Proceeds will help Monica with her battle with cancer.

Legion Branch 26 Sackville will be having a parade on Monday May 8th to commemorate Victory in Europe Day. You’re asked to assemble in front of the Legion at 6:45 Monday evening. There will be a march to the Cenotaph at 6:55 for a short service in Memorial Park. March back to the Legion for a Stand Too.
