The Cumberland Singers present Magic Moments, songs from the 60-the 80’s, Fri May 5 at 7:30 at the Wentworth Recreation Center. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for those 12 and under. Proceeds to the Wentworth Recreation Center.

Cumberland County’s 1st Pet Expo is Sat May 6 at 10-3 at Park Your Paws. Bring your pet and have some fun. Amoung the events are a cat show, agility demonstration, fly ball races, a pure bred dog parade, a pet dog show and more. Industry professionals and vendors will be there. You could win a door prize or the 50/50 draw. Proceeds support the L.A. Animal Shelter.

The Cobequid Off Highway Vehicle Club is holding a Benefit ATV Poker Rally for the GOVRC Workshop in Springhill this Saturday, rain or shine. Registration is from 9-11 at Rod Brown’s Mill in Southampton. There will be a BBQ at the main site and midway checkpoint, and there will be prizes and draws. There will be prizes for the top 3 hands. The cost is $15 per ATV, with a second hand for $10.

With Mothers Day coming up you'll find great ideas for her with more than 30 vendors, crafters, artisans, home bakers and home businesses . The Cumberland Food Action Network and the Ecology Action Center Our Food Project will be holding their 3rd Annual Musicans For Local Food, Sat May 6 from noon-3 at Christ Church Hall.
