The 2nd Annual Born To Shine Gala in memory of Tony Lovell is Sat April 25, at the Dr Carson and Marion Murray Community Center, in support of Special Olympics Amherst. There will be a parade of athletes, a roast beef dinner served by our local cadets, awards to athletes, a silent auction as well as 50-50 tickets and a dance with Cool Water. Tickets are $30.00.

Tickets are now on sale for the Denim and Diamonds Gala, Saturday May 2 at 7 at Amherst Regional High. Cumberland County’s first Youth Triathalon is coming to Amherst May 18. Kids Of Steel will feature a Swim, Bike and Run for ages 3-19. There will be different distances for all ages.
