There’s a Benefit for Elsie Pettigrew Saturday at Teasers. It starts at 6. Among the entertainers will be The Kraken, Michelle LeBlanc, Basil Hicks and Steve LeBlanc, Drew Polegato, Ron Downey and Friends, No Mad Sky and The Rock Bottom. Elsie is recovering from a car accident in January.

Learn 2 Lead and the St John Ambulance are hosting a Home Alone Course this afternoon from 3-5:30 at the Junction Road School. It’s designed for 9-11 year olds, who are just starting to stay home by themselves for a short period of time. The course will cover basic safety tips, home safety procedures, when to call 911, how to get emergency help, healthy eating, fighting boredom, overcoming fears and fire safety.
