Johnny Cash’s birthday was Feb 26. The Man in Black wore black for the poor and beaten down, living in the hopeless hungry side of town. Johnny loved bologna sandwiches. The Pugwash CO OP store will be offering shoppers free fried bologna sandwiches to all shoppers, Wednesday Feb 26 from 11-2. You will also get a piece of Johnny Cash’s birthday cake with black icing. Learn 2 Lead Cumberland is hosting Show Me The Money, Thursday Feb 27 from 10-4:30 at the Oxford Legion. This workshop will look at how volunteers and community organizations can make the most of the resources they already have, and how they can find new financial resources to help them accomplish their goals. The Port Elgin Regional Home and School Committee will be hosting an All You Can Eat Breakfast Saturday,  Feb 29th from 7-10 at Saint Mark’s Hall in Mount Whatley N.B.. The cost for adults $10, kids 6-12 years $5 and under 6 eat free. There will also be a bake sale table and a 50/50. Proceeds for the Port Elgin School.

There’s Music At The Mall Saturday at the Amherst Center. Join Slim Pickins at the Market and  Café from 1-3. Admission is by donation, with a chance to win prizes. And there’s always great food at the Café open from 8-5.
