Maggie’s Place, CANU and Cumberland Libraries are hosting a Family Pajama  Party, Saturday from 10-noon at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Robie Street. They will be building forts, making crafts and reading together. Maggie’s Place needs your good used books to give away for the Fort Building. Drop your donations off at Maggie’s Place.

The Multicultural Association of Cumberland is hosting a Lunar New Year Celebration, Saturday from 6:30-9 at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Robie Street. 2020 is the Year of the Rat. They will be celebrating with finger foods, games, stories and dance with music from DJ Milo C . The admission is by donation and you are welcome to bring food.  

The Springhill Lions Club wants to hear from you. The club is wrapping up a survey on Sunday and wants you to participate. The survey is to help the club plan for the future and to find out what people feel are the needs of the community are so we can address them together. It's Family Film Fun at The Hall in Parrsboro Sunday. They will be showing The Greatest Showman at 2. They have a 9’ x16’ screen, comfy seats and fresh popcorn. Admission is $2, with proceeds to The Hall.

It’s Frozen Frenzy at the Springhill Library Thursday Jan 30 from 3-4. Anna, Elsa and Olaf are back with friends in a new adventure movie. There will be stories, crafts and icy fun. The event is for grades P-6.
