The Town of Amherst lends out snowshoes and Nordic walking poles free of charge for daily and weekend sign out. You can borrow outdoor sports equipment as part of our Physical Activity Strategy and help build Amherst as one of the most active, healthy communities in Nova Scotia. Snowshoes are available for lending at the Amherst Stadium, Cumberland YMCA and Four Father’s Memorial Library.
