Celebration of the Life of Ducky Quinn

There’s a Benefit Dance and Celebration of  the Life of Ducky Quinn, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Saturday Jan 11 starting at 7. Admission is a donation at the door. The Future of Forestry in Cumberland County

It’s Sunday from 3-6 at the Community Credit Union Business Innovation Center. Frank Gallant of Peak Experience will be on hand to facilitate a follow-up discussion around Northern Pulp’s closure and strategies to support Cumberland County’s forest industry.

Equipment Rentals

January 14, 2020

The Town of Amherst lends out snowshoes and Nordic walking poles free of charge for daily and weekend sign out. You can borrow outdoor sports equipment as part of our Physical Activity Strategy and help build Amherst as one of the most active, healthy communities in Nova Scotia. Snowshoes are available for lending at the Amherst Stadium, Cumberland YMCA and Four Father’s Memorial Library.
