The VON Lucky Loonie Draw has extra prizes in December. In addition to the regular Loonie draws Wednesdays, on Dec 4, 11 and 18th, they will be drawing for 3 turkeys each night as well. If you don’t have a Lucky Loonie Draw ticket, get yours at the VON office, on Prince Arthur Street. And don’t forget to play your Loonies.

There’s a Holiday Party at the Springhill Library Thursday Dec 19 from 3-4. There will be stories, games and crafts. It’s for grades P-6.

The Amherst Skating Club StarSkate Program proudly presents the Nutcracker On Ice, Thursday at 6 at the Amherst Stadium. Admission is free, but donations to the Food Bank would be appreciated.
