A Kairos Blanket Exercise is going on Saturday at Trinity St Stephens United Church, It’s an interactive program developed with indigenous Elders and educators, to foster truth, understanding, respect and reconciliation amoung Indigenous and non-indigenous people. It’s a history lesson of this land and its peoples. It’s on from 2-6 in Burgess Hall. The program will wrap up with a sharing circle and potluck supper.

The Parrsboro Band Association presents Oktoberfest at the Hall, Saturday. Dance the night away with The Elastic Big Band from 8-11. The Tidnish Bridge Fire Department is serving Breakfast Sunday Oct 6 from 8-11. It costs $8, with proceeds toward training, fire equipment and helping the community.
