The Parrsboro Board of Trade is hosting an All Candidates Event in Parrsboro Monday at 7:30 at the Ships Company Theatre. The candidates will discuss prepared questions, take questions from the audience and be able to talk to the candidates after the event. Doors open at 7, and bring a sweater.

The Amherst and Area Chamber of Commerce  is holding a Meet The Candidates event, Tuesday Oct 8, 6-9 at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Robie Street. It’s not a debate. It’s an opportunity to meet the candidates for Cumberland Colchester in the upcoming federal election. Candidates will have 10 minutes to introduce themselves and their plans and will be asked questions submitted by the local public and the Chamber. The only admission fee, is respectful behavior.
