Tails and Ales Beerfest Fundraiser
The Tails and Ales Beerfest Fundraiser for the L.A. Animal Shelter is Sat Sept 21 from 9-1 at the Amherst Curling Club. Music will be by dance band Derailed. Tickets are $12 and available at the Shelter, Buds to Blossoms, Copper Tree Boutique, Shur Gain Feeds ‘n’ Needs, Glamorama and from Board members. Must 19 or older

Thanks for your support of the Smile Cookie Campaign at Tim Hortons Amherst locations. $11,164 was raised this year, $3,226 more than last year, with the proceeds going to the United Way of Cumberland County. There’s a Blueberry Supper, Tuesday Sept 24 from 4-6 at the Collingwood Fire Hall. They will be serving ham and potato scallop, with blueberry pie or Blueberry cheesecake for dessert.
