International Overdose Awareness Day is Saturday. The Cumberland Opioid Council and Northern Healthy Connections Society present Time to Remember, Time to Act Saturday from 11-2 in Victoria Square. There will be presentations. Local art, resources and Naloxone Training.

There’s Music at the Mall Saturday at the Amherst Center. Andy Melanson will be playing at the Market and Café from 11-1. Evange Landry, Rod Oullette and Neon Moon will play from 1-3. As always there will be a cash draw and door prizes. And there’s great food, with Caribbean, Korean and traditional cuisine at the Café.

The 36th Annual Roy Maltby Fundy Hockey School is coming Sept 3-10. The cost is $150 for players and $75 for goalies. Participants will get 10 hours of ice time, including 2 games. Register at rmfhs.ca and follow them on facebook for more details.
