The After the School Bell Food Program and the Amherst Regional High Viking Pantry, are holding Food Drive Thursday through Saturday, Aug 22-24 from 10-3 at the Amherst Center next to Tim Hortons. There will also be a bake Sale Saturday from 11-1, with entertainment from Steve Ripley.

The Sackville Street Chalk Art Festival is Friday thru Sunday August 23-25, on Bridge Street, in the heart of downtown Sackville. Eleven artists from across the Maritimes and Ontario will be creating a magnificent chalk art installation directly on Bridge Street.
